Work Experience

During my internship at Team Lammi, I was tasked with helping promote the “2s FREEs & 3s” event—a basketball-themed charity initiative. The challenge was to expand event participation and secure enough sponsors to cover costs and raise awareness.

I cold-called schools and recreational centers across the Midwest to encourage their involvement, using customized pitches to appeal to different audiences. I also researched potential sponsors, developed tailored proposals, and presented opportunities to businesses. I worked with internal staff and athletes to align event messaging and logistics.

My outreach successfully secured new schools for the event and helped land sponsorships for high-profile charity softball games in Kansas City and Buffalo. I gained real-world experience in B2B outreach, proposal writing, and sponsorship negotiation—all while helping expand a meaningful charitable event.
